Few days left before we’ll say goodbye to December and to 2014! I’m 70% excited. And 30% not because first week of January means 2 presentations and exams! 😜 but whatever! I will do it so I could graduate college on April 2015. 😍
Anyway, as for the title of this post, yes I’ll share to you all the happenings last January 2014, thanks to the help of my planner. 😜
1st of January. With my sisters, niece and nephew, we went to SM Mall of Asia to eat, have fun and watch fireworks!
2nd of January. I went to Bonifacio Global Center to get this planner from TV5 which I won from their Twitter contest. 🙂 BGC is a very nice place!
I then went to SM Mall of Asia to watch the movie Kimmy Dora alone. It’s not my first time to watch a movie in a cinema alone! Haha. Do you do it, too? 😀
3rd of January. Past 12am, my mother was rushed to the hospital because she had a high fever and she can’t breathe well. She was discharged around 8am. Thank God!
4th of January. I went to SM Mall of Asia and watched 2 movies. Guess what. Yes, I’m all alone again. Haha! I watched 10,000 Hours and My Little Bossings. Here in the Philippines, starting December 25th, we have this Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
The Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines (MMFF-P) is an annual film festival held in Manila . The festival, which runs from the 25th of December to the first week of January in the following year, focuses on locally produced films.
During the course of the festival, no foreign movies are shown across the Philippines (except in 3D theaters and IMAX theaters).
And 10,000 Hours was my favorite film among the MMFF entries.
5th of January. I just stayed in our house all day. Watched a number of videos on YouTube.
6th of January. First day of class for 2014 but we did not have a regular class yet so Alona and I went to SM MOA and watched Pagpag. It was a great horror movie!
“The film revolves around the traditional Filipino belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits or the deceased to one’s home. One should first shake off (in Filipino, pagpág ) whatever curse there may be to avoid being trailed by the soul of the dead.”
Quoted from Wikipedia.
7th of January. Alona and I went to Summit Media’s office to claim my another BDJ planner and I gave it to my sister since I already have my own BDJ. Summit Media is the leading consumer magazine publisher here in the Philippines and I used to (and still do) want to work at their office. ❤
8th of January. Alona and I went to Maita’s house and we watched When The Love Is Gone movie.
9th of January. Alona and I went to Wrangler’s branch at Glorietta to claim my Tricia Gosingtian’s 150 Style Essentials for Every
Girl prize. I joined a bunch of contests last December 2013! Haha!
I really like this book! ❤
10th of January. Jessica Sanchez had a Twitter party and two of my questions were answered! #fangirl
12th of January. My mother gave me 1,000.00 pesos! 😀 (I was saving money then for a new phone.)
17th of January. I dyed my hair for the first time.
Cropped the photobombers! 😜 also, my hair was all brown on that photo, fyi. 😁✌ I don’t dye my hair anymore because I want my black hair back.
18th of January. I was able to buy a new phone with my own savings! I’m using it until now. 😁
20th of January. I was so worried that I passed my activity sheets days late but my professor still gave me a 95% grade. 😁
26th of January. Dona and I went to Glorietta (a mall) to claim my The Hobbit DVD prize. (Yes, another prize.) 😀
We also got to see Kylie Padilla, RJ Padilla, Matt Padilla and Daniel Padilla (all actress and actors here in Philippines).
29th of January. One of my professor got disappointed at me for not doing my report. 😦 (wait for my February post to know what happened next)
That’s it! Mostly, January 2014 gave me fun memories. I’m also grateful for my mother’s good health after she was hospitalized.
My planner has a weekly affirmations and for the month of January my favorite was.. Every problem has a solution, and I seek my solution with resolve.
Have a nice day! 🙂
