My Eat Bulaga experience

Yesterday, I finally had the chance to watch Eat Bulaga! (a noon-time variety show here in the Philippines) live.

image

Thanks to Vinzon, who was one of the contestants of Gayang Gaya, Siyang Siya Semi-Finals, that my mother and I was able to come.

image

Vinzon did a very good job impersonating Lady Gaga but unfortunately, he lost. From make-up to costumes to his dancing, he was perfect! I wonder why the 50 people from the barangay who was chosen to judge didn’t see that? Ugh! It was obvious from the Eat Bulaga’s staff that they’re rooting for him too. 😦 oh well, that’s life. Vinzon will surely have some great opportunities next time. πŸ™‚

This is not the look he did yesterday, though, you will see how amazing his make-up transformation is. Photo from @ladygagitaofficial Instagram account.

As for being one of the audience of Eat Bulaga!, it had been a great experience! It was fun and the crowd was a bunch of energetic people. I was glad I was able to see the hosts in person. The staff were entertaining even during commercials. Everyone participated in dancing and singing the Eat Bulaga’s theme song. Everyone was very eager to be chosen as contestants in Laban O Bawi to win 1 million pesos.

Unintentional mistake

Whether big or small, unintentional mistakes are unbearable. In my case, I made a small unintentional mistake. But, it haunted me for days and I feel bad about it.

You see, I love replying to all the comments here in my blog. It makes me happy that you read my posts and make time to comment. Please know that I appreciate every comment you post and it motivates me to write more.

Last Thursday, I checked my Spam folder and saw two comments. I was able to mark the other one as not a spam but I unintentionally pressed the delete permanently to  the other comment.  😦 I tried to find ways to restore it but I failed. No email about that comment since it was in my Spam folder and I forgot his/her name the moment I unintentionally deleted it. I felt sad and angry at my self.

To the person who left the comment on my Mint post, I’m sorry. I appreciate that you liked my writing skill and you liked my WordPress theme. To answer your question, the theme I’m using is Flounder and, yes, it’s free. I only customized it to my favorite colors. πŸ™‚ if you’re reading this, please comment. ❀

That incident taught me to be extra careful next time. To feel better, I think of that mistake as a lesson and make sure not to commit to the same mistake again.

You may say that it’s just a little or petty mistake but seriously though, I felt better after writing this. πŸ™‚

Lately β€” Vol. 2

It’s past 10:00pm and it’s time for me to sleep but I wouldn’t want to miss posting this blog post. It’s time for another Lately blog post which features how I’d been doing this week!

Read
I haven’t read any novels this week or had even continued reading I Am the Lion. Boo! I know. But at least I had time reading my school books. 😜 haha!

Write
Well, I wasn’t able to make any quote doodle that I said on my previous Lately post that I’ll try to do. Please blame my assignments. 😜 Boo! This is getting boring. Haha!

Listened to
I’ve been listening to a local radio station during spare time. My fave is Monster Radio RX 93.1

Wear

image

I wore this Not A Morning Person shirt today when we went to SM Megamall.

Feeling
Most of the day this week, I felt sleepy and tired because of school. Staying at school and internship the whole day is so stressful. And I really hate having Saturday class. Weekends are supposed to be rest days.

Loving
To make up for the stressful days, I received two amazing comments on my blog! One is from Island Media Asia.

image

I was shocked when I received that tweet. I’m happy that whoever behind that account that day, made time to read my blog.
Another is from Lora Lindy!

image

Lora Lindy who is the author of Eleven Days: An Unexpected Love. 😍
I also love that I was able to claim the vouchers I won from Sm Megamall and SM Food Court.

Good night to you all! πŸ™‚

Blue sky

The weather last Tuesday is perfect! Okay, it was hot outside but since I stayed in our classroom most of the time, I didn’t mind it at all.
When at our classroom, I always prefer to sit near the window. Besides the soft wind brushing on my face, I love the view! (Especially if it’s sunny.)
image

I’m so in love with the blue sky. Also, the clouds looks so fluffy!
image

Another sky picture last Tuesday and was taken at a different time than the first photo. I actually took a video of the sky, trying to document the clouds’ movement. Unfortunately, my video editor here in my phone won’t let me edit a video of more than 5 minutes. The plan was to video the sky for half an hour and edit it to fast forward so the clouds’ movement will be visible. 😦 I guess I’ll just edit it on laptop next time if I have time.
image

Edited this on Photofy app. Photofy is so cool! Do you have the app? If not yet, I recommend you to download it if you’re the type of a person who like putting texts on photos. πŸ˜€

And this is a photo of my view from the window when there are storm clouds.

This photo was taken one week ago and it looks kind of scary, right? 😁

March 2014 favorites

March 2014 is when we’re too excited for the school year to end. Especially to me and my classmates since it means we will already finish our 3rd year at university. It’s also when most of us are already planning for summer. Whether to head home to our provinces or stay here at Manila. (I did the latter.) 😄

And while we’re still at school and had to take our final exams, I still had some memorable memories and I’ll be sharing it with you. πŸ™‚

8th of March. I was able to meet Tricia Gosingtian at her book signing!! She’s one of my favorite bloggers and I’m so happy I was able to meet her. ❀

Yes, I will! πŸ™‚

9th of March. Together with friends and my sister, we waited for Island Media Asia at the airport. They didn’t know we will be there so they were pretty surprised. I felt very happy that we were able to take photos and videos, and chatted with them without the other fans. We had them for ourselves! 😄✌

Island Media Asia

22nd of March. Together with my mother, sister, niece and nephew, we went to World Trade Center for FunFest 2014. It is Super 8’s grocery warehouse event. Super 8 is where my mom would always do the grocery because of their affordable prices and they even had low prices of grocery items because of the event. As for me, my sister, nephew and niece though we’re looking forward to the games, raffles and the actor’s / actresses’ appearance.Β  😜

Lately… Vol. 1

Philippines is still in a holiday because of Pope’s visit here. I’m not a Catholic but I respect how important this is to them and how they are determined to see the Pope: people were along the streets to get a glimpse of him when he passes by and some had camped out to where he would hold a mass (Quirino grandstand and at University of Santo Tomas). So many people even when it’s raining! The roads were closed for vehicles and cellular services were temporarily suspended because of government’s order.

As for me since Thursday, I spent the holiday just staying at home (it was only yesterday that I got to go out). Did some of my homework and studied for my report. Watched movies. Watched the live streaming of Pope’s caravan or mass. And ate since my sisters were also here and they’ve been cooking delicious food. 😜

Anyway, this Lately post is inspired by Kristelle of http://krissified.com. Though hers is titled Currently and she posts her entries during Mondays. Mine will be every Sundays. πŸ™‚

This will be about how I’ve been doing in the previous days and up to this day. And I hope I could keep doing this every Sunday. Haha!

Read
It has been a week since I started reading I Am The Lion by Andrew Toy on my Kindle app and I’m still 9% through it but I’m determined to finish it.

Listened to
My current favorite song is Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. 🎧🎶

Wore
Last Thursday, I wore my old school shirt.

image

I bought this 6 years ago and it still fits me. Haha! I miss Central Philippine University! 😍

Thought
I’m thinking of practicing this art doodling.

image

They’re beautiful! See more here.

Felt
Last Tuesday we had a quiz on Total Quality Management and then our Prof. would question us about our answers. He is the kind of teacher who would question you until you ran out of ideas/answers. I felt proud because I was able to answer or reason out to all his questions and given situations. :)👍

Love
I’m loving the fact that it’s holiday here! πŸ˜€

Need
I still need to finish some of the things in my To-Do list and that includes to wash my shoes. 😁

Wish
My sister will buy a plane ticket for summer (April) and I wish she’ll buy me, too. 🙏 she’s going to our hometown and I wanna coooooome!

That’s it! It was kind of uneventful week though. πŸ˜€ Have a great day!

image

P.S
I made a template ⇧ which I’ll be using to post quotes or any texts and I find it cute! 😄✌ I used pink and blue green since they’re the prominent colors of my blog. :)❀
