Good bye April!

Thanks to everyone who greeted me! Thanks to Facebook for reminding my friends that it’s my birthday. Haha! It was nice replying to the greetings I received from my elementary to high school schoolmates and classmates, to my classmates from the first two universities I’ve been to (LOL!) (I’m glad I was able to make friends with them even on a short period of a semester. ❤), from my classmates, friends and acquaintances from where I just graduated, from my cousins and aunts, and other relatives, and from my co-fangirls and boys 😜. Well, basically, to everyone who took the time to post on my Facebook wall. Haha! Also to people greeted me on Twitter and Instagram! 🙌✋ high-five people! 🙌🙌

To friends who called me, especially Alona! I miss you girl!!! 😭😭 See you on Sunday and good luck to us on our exam. 🙏

To my family who’s with me celebrating my birthday here at home. Thank you!! 💕 I cried when my mother greeted me. Hihi. She’s very forgetful these days so when she heard my sister greeting me, she also greeted and hugged me and I got so emotional. (Until now. :’) ) It was her greeting that I waited. ❤

Thank You Jesus for another year. 💕

Hello May! 🌸

A Day at Splash Island

Last year’s summer, I didn’t get to go at the beach or any resort. I don’t know why exactly. So, this year, I’m glad that we got to go at Splash Island, a water park. Went there with my 2 sisters, nephew and niece and we had so much fun. 🙂 It was our first time to be there to experience their water and other non-water activities. 😀

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try all their slides or activities since there were schedules for each activities and there were long queue.

Loved that cottage, though, it’s not what we rented. That cottage is perfect for a big group of water park goers.

Agos means waves, as you can see on the next photos.

The small cottage we rented. We chose this so we can leave our things inside and there's an air conditioner. There were open cottages too.

And for the first time in my whole life, I was able to try the zipline!! It was funny because I was already in my gear and the attendant is about to push me when I chickened out. I wanted not to do it because I was really scared. Hahah! But yeah, I still did it. I felt embarrassed with the other people waiting for their turn. LOL!

image

image

Yes, I was scared the first time I did it but it turned out super fun! I did it again for the second time that day.. Haha!

Love the view. ❤

We still have tickets left and I hope we’ll go there again this May and I’ll make sure to try the other activities like kayaking, wall climbing, Magellan’s Drop and others. 🙂

Flowers Overload

All these photos were taken at Splash Island where we went last Monday. It was a beautiful place. We went there to take a swim and tried there water activities but that would be in another blog post. 🙂

Enjoy the photos of different flowers! I hope they will put a smile on your face as what they did to mine. 😍:)

⬆After putting that picture, I realized it’s not a flower! Haha! The main focus of that picture are its fruits, though, you can still see its white small flower at the top. 🙂  It amazed me seeing this plant. Suddenly remembered one of my childhood days at the farm — eating the fruit when they turn to yellow, orange or red colors.

Team 43 at Conceptrum

Last April 17, together with my friends, we went to Conceptrum at Paranaque City.

image

Each of our uniquely different designed rooms are calibrated to fully immerse our clients in a real life game room, where the main characters are themselves. Backed by our fool proof gameflow which revolves around fun and safety. Our guidelines and mechanics are sure to promote teamwork, curiosity and problem solving that will challenge each character to do their best and succeed.

Each goal has it’s share of mini puzzles and subliminal challenges set against yourself and the clock. Clients must form teams within the limit of the game room and solve or accomplish the main goal before the game clock expires.

We were first asked to sign the waiver and briefed on the do’s and don’ts of the game and were asked to name our group. We named our group Team 43 (bravo! So creative. Haha). We derived it from our then section at school. Fourth year-section 3. Thus, Team 43!

image

image

I don’t want to tell every details of the game to not spoil your curiosity but it was really fun and…scary! (At least for the Deranged room) Haha

In this game, you will only be given 50 minutes to do the tasks and solve the mystery so camaraderie among team members is a must. In our case, we were only able to do 60% of the mission and so, we didn’t get to take home a prize and a sense of pride. LOL! We had fun, nonetheless. 🙂

Also, taking of pictures inside the rooms are prohibited.

How to get to Conceptrum:
This is the way and mode of transportation that we took, so, other than the directions mentioned below is already out of my knowledge. Charot!
From MRT/LRT Taft, ride a jeepney with an SM MOA sign board (fare: P7.50) and alight at Heritage Tulay.
Cross the pedestrian and you’ll see a terminal of jeepneys.
Ride the jeepney with Sucat Hi-way signboard or ask the driver if he’ll pass by at SM BF. (Fare: P19.00)
Alight at SM BF and walk along the President’s Avenue until you’ll see the tricycles’ terminal.
Ask the tricycle driver (fare: P7.00) to  drop you off at  Pancake House or at Tropical Hut.
You will then see Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses’ church, walk going to that direction and you’ll see Conceptrum on your left. 🙂

Double Dare by Rhonda Nelson

image

Synopsis

Runaway bride Louisa Honeycut is looking for a quick escape when she passes the Double Dare, Inc sign and the slogan “Are you ready for the time of your life?” seems like divine intervention. Sheltered by her overbearing father, Louisa has years of catching up to do and can think of no better person than gorgeous Sam Rawlins to show her. Is she ready for the time of her life? Hell, yes.

Ordinarily unflappable adventure guide Sam Rawlins makes his living showing the wealthy how to have fun, but nothing in his experience could have prepared him for the “adventure” Louisa Honeycut asks for. He might be showing Louisa the time of her life, but the quirky little snack-cake heiress is soon turning Sam’s own life upside down…and perversely, he likes the new vantage point.

I got this for free at Amazon Kindle and this is the first novel I was able to read and finish this summer break.

I loved the part where Louisa is having her adventures (though there were only two adventures mentioned.lol) because I felt her excitement too especially that bungee jumping. I haven’t tried that before but I felt like I could feel also Louisa’s feeling when she did it. That feeling when your stomach knots when you’re jumping so high. Haha!

I have one question though, are adventure guides real? I know there are tour guides but I don’t know about adventure guides where they would accompany you in your adventure wherever it is. Wouldn’t that cost the adventure seeker bigger bill? 😁 okay, maybe it’s just the author’s product of imagination. Haha!

Another thing, I hope this novel had an editor or proofreaders, there were a lot of errors.

Watercolor Project #2, #3 and #4 : greeting, scenery and quote

image

Bonjour WordPress friends! 😀 It’s a beautiful day! It’s very hot, though. 😭 Hello 33°C, I can feel you! ☁🌞☁

image

Missing the farm life right now. 😦 Two of my sisters are now at our hometown and I’m jealous.
I need to practice more on painting trees. Haha! And mixing colors 😄

image

To you who’s reading this now, have a happy… everything! :D💕

Painted that on a scratch paper, thus the black lines in the background and a smudge green ink. Haha! Note to self: don’t use scratch papers again.

I’m really enjoying this watercolor painting. 🎨

Watercolor Project #1: quote

image

I have listed on my April 2015 Birthday Wish List that I wanted – among many other things – watercolor, a set of brush and sketchpads. But I couldn’t wait anymore until the end of the month that I already bought them yesterday and started with my project.

image

image

Disappointed with the brush I bought. It’s not pointed / small enough to color my small lettering. So I just  played with it by drawing a beach and love. Another way to practice my skill, or the lack thereof. Haha! I’m pretty satisfied with the beach, though. 😁😁

image

Then, this morning, I thought of cutting the tip of the brush (since I can’t buy another brush yet) and continued with my project.

image

Here’s the final look of my work. I’m a beginner, guys. Please bear with me. Hahaha! 💕
