Sunday Fun Day 5.31.2015

image

Another quality time spent with the family. I’m glad that we did this because tomorrow’s the start of school again and everyone will be busy.

So, we first went to church and the topic was about…

My nephew took down notes. πŸ˜‰

We then went to one of the restaurants at SM Mall of Asia that serves sea foods. I forgot the name of the restaurant. Haha!

image

I wanted to take pictures of the food we ordered but everyone’s hungry that they can’t wait to eat already. It was already 1:40pm that time.

We then went to watch a movie. We still had 1 Β½ hours to wait before the movie starts so these happened…

We watched San Andreas! It was such an amazing movie!! Must watch, guys! πŸ˜‰

Job Examination

Today is a tiring day for me, both mentally and physically. I had my job exam this afternoon at a bank, at Banco de Oro (BDO) and oh boy! The exam is no easy – especially the Accounting. All my college years we have studied it but I never loved that subject. Haha! The office/testing center is far from home too. I had to get on a train and a bus to get there.

Thank God, it was all worth it since I passed the exam! 🙌 I’ll have my interview on June 5 and I really, really hope I’ll be able to get the job. Pray for me? ^____^

It’s past 10:25 pm here and I’m just lying in bed. I’m not sleepy since I slept when I got home, although my body is so tired, especially my legs because I wore heels the whole day. Note to self: bring flats next time. πŸ˜€

I’m wishing you all a good day/night wherever you are! πŸ˜‰

Shopped for School Supplies

image

A week and few days left before school starts again. It’s that time of the year again where we would shop for school supplies for ourselves, though, in my case for my niece. Yay!! The joy of being a graduate and not going to school again this June. Haha!

Alliyah and I went to National Book Store at SM Mall of Asia around 4pm so it wouldn’t be too hot on the road.

image

She’s going to be in Grade 1 at the age of 5 years and 9 months! Lol! I remember I entered Grade 1 at the age of 7. 😜

We bought notebooks, papers, pencils, etc but not the bag and shoes yet. That will be her mother’s agenda. πŸ˜€ I loved seeing my niece’s reaction in buying what she needs. I could see that she’s excited to go back to school again with her new things. πŸ™‚ I even let her choose whatever notebook designs she’ll buy to be sure she’ll really like it.

image

After crossing off all the things she’ll need from the list, yes her mother made a list so we wouldn’t forget anything, I let her browse some books from the shelves. She’s so happy when she saw some Frozen books! πŸ™‚

image

After checking out at the counter, we went to Chowking to eat. While waiting for our orders, she mentioned that I can already have a husband. Hahah! Maybe she was happy that I accompanied her in buying her things so she gave me the blessing of being in a relationship because she used to never ever want me have a boyfriend. πŸ˜€

image

She’s super hungry already.

image

Went home with full stomach and she volunteered to carry the bag of school supplies. As of writing, she’s asleep already, got tired for sure. Heh! ^___^

In White Dress

Last month, I attended Creamsilk’s ball for the premier of Cream Silk Portraits: A Celebration of World Class Filipina. Featuring the journeys of Anne Curtis, Heart Evangelista-Escudero, Toni Gonzaga, and Lea Salonga to becoming a World Class Filipina.

image

I was excited for that night and today, I’ll finally share some photos from that event.

image

Of course, hair and make up should be done and thanks to the amazing team!

Being surrounded with World Class Filipinas that night is such an amazing feeling, and seeing Anne, Toni, Lea and Heart up on stage, hearing their stories of their journeys to becoming world class is so inspiring!! Also, witnessing Lea Salonga perform live is…wow!! Just wow!!! 👏

Thank you to Ms. Aise (center) of Cream Silk for taking care of us that night. ^___^

With my favorite bloggers Vern and Verniece. Gosh! They’re so beautiful! 😍

It was such a fun and inspiring night and thanks to these girls that I got to meet on the event. β€œIt was nice meeting new people turns to new friends, so much fun that we became so clingy with each other that fast.” quoting Queenly on that and that’s so totally true!!

Let me share to you too these quotes I quoted from Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s, Philippines’ prima ballerina, speech that night.
β€œSuccess always starts with a dream!”
β€œFollow your heart β€” it will never lead you astray.”

Looking forward to another event like this. 💕 We all came out of that theater truly inspired to be the best that we can be. πŸ˜€

After lunch, we went to a department store to buy some stuff for the house and some cosmetics for my sisters.

And how nice of the sales man to curl our hair. Haha! We bought the same hair iron before, though, we only use it to straighten our hair, so, he taught us how to use it in curling our hair. πŸ˜€
