BY THE BAY

I woke up at 7:30 in the morning yesterday with a text message from her asking if she can come over. This girl just can’t stay in their house for a day. Haha!
We are also that kind of friends who doesn’t make plans on where to go the next day or next week because it just never happens. But when we say we should go here on this particular place now? Bam! Off we go immediately. Haha! It happened so many times already and yesterday was that kind of day again.

After we had our brunch, we went to the mall and just went window shopping until we felt tired. We bought drinks from McDonald’s and chips from the grocery store and we then headed to the seaside.

It was 2:00 in the afternoon and it was so hot! Fortunately, there are a lot of palm trees. Talked about random stuff like we always do while munching on chips. The salty breeze also adds to the summer feeling we had even though it’s August and supposed to be rainy season. (That night I learned it rained on some parts of the country. Manila remained sunny though.)

Marnie had been my classmate since first year college but we both have different set of friends. It was only in our forth year that I got to know her more. I’m happy that we remained friends even after we graduated. 🙂

We stayed there until 4:00 pm. There’s fireworks that night but we decided not to watch it anymore. It was another random and fun day out with her. There will be more for sure soon! Haha!

I went home and mom was cooking eggplant and tuna omelette and it was so good that I already decided to have dinner as early as 5:30 pm. (Usual dinner is at 8pm. 😀 ) I really love it when mom is not tired or sick or she’s in a good mood (LOL) because she gets to cook super yummy food for us! ❤
