A week ago, I attended another BDJ Passion Series, Flawlessly Ethereal, at the Flawless Head Office. Even though it’s a little far from my place, I was glad that it’s where the venue is. I always wanted to see their head office! ❤️
For pink lovers, the venue was like heaven! It was kind of Flawless to prepare these goodies too; a headband and a pack of products that we can use to clean our face.
At the center of the table are NYX products that we used to achieve our Halloween looks. This is when our first speaker came in.
She is Ms. Chyla Guerrero, the Chief Makeup Artist of NYX Cosmetics PH. She taught us some basics to do the Halloween looks and while she’s demonstrating it with one of the attendees, we did our own makeup too.
I’d be honest here, I don’t have much knowledge with makeup, let alone do a Halloween look. Haha. But I tried my best to achieve this fairy look. Good for me, I brought my flower crown to complete my Halloween makeup.Very simple isn’t it? 😂 Kudos to my friends for being more creative with their looks though.
After this, we then had a photo opportunity with Ms. Chyla. ❤️ She liked my mascara and eyebrows so I shared with her that I used red eyeliner for both. 😊
Chibug time!! So much love for BDJ for always having great food on every event. 😍
For the second part of the program, we had Ms. Renee Funtanilla, Marketing Manager of Flawless (visit their website to learn more about their clinic. There are also informative articles you can read.) to talk about skincare and the services they offer.
Four facts about Flawless :
🌸 they have FREE Doctor Consultation
🌸 FDA Registered
🌸 Guaranteed Hygienic, you are confident that they have made every effort to ensure that the tools they use meet the highest sanitary standards for our safety
🌸 their Skin Professionals undergo intensive training
Ms. Renee also shared the Flawless guide to skincare:
1. Determine your skin type
2. Use of special products for your special skin needs
3. Pay attention to fragile areas
8. Sun Protect
I loved that Ms. Renee also discussed about different skin type so we know what products should suit us best and the following are what I learned from her:
🌸 Normal – complexion is balanced (not too oily or too dry), and you rarely have breakouts **if this is you, girl, I’m so envious!**
🌸 Dry – your skin can crack, peel, or become itchy, irritated, or inflamed. If it’s very dry, it can become rough and scaly, especially on the backs of your hands, arms, and legs.
🌸 Oily – I t is shiny and thick, often with enlarged pores. Oily skin is prone to blackheads and blemishes.
🌸 Combination – your skin can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin)
🌸 Sensitive – patients tend to describe their skin as “sensitive” if it frequently reacts with redness, itching, burning or dryness to the topical application of skin care products.
So what is your skin type? As for me, it’s combination! 😩
Here’s the rule, “cleanse, exfoliate, tone, moisturize”. And do you know the best part? “Flawless Face and Body Clinic offers a collection of products especially formulated to match each skin type – acne-prone, oily skin, sensitive, mature skin, or combination – for women and men alike.” Browse all their products and services HERE.
Before October or November ends (trying to find a date where there will be longer weekends😁) I’ll be trying one of their services and that’s the Rejuvelite Insta Facial! I’m still not sure which one I’ll be having because one their doctors will examine my skin first. Nevertheless, I’m excited!
