In Taiwan but dining at a Thai restaurant? Why not, right? The first time I dined here was last 2016 and my boyfriend and I did enjoy it. They have a lot of food to choose from on their menu and everything is at a reasonable price.
This year, my boyfriend and I went back to this place with his mother and these were all the dishes we ordered:
- Green Curry Chicken – 280 NTD
This is one of my boyfriend’s and I favorites. They used to put beans, though, instead of peas. Nevertheless, the taste is still the same.
- Original Shrimp Pancake – 350 NTD
This is my all-time favorite! It was fried to perfection and the sauce complimented the taste of the pancake a lot.
- Thai Green Papaya Salad with Peanuts & Crushed Red Pepper Flakes – 270 NTD
I liked it but I didn’t enjoy it much because it was too spicy for me. My boyfriend wasn’t a fan of this dish either. Next time, we’re definitely not ordering this dish again.
- Spicy Beef Stir-Fry – 320 NTD
This dish was red with all the chillis so I tried with just half a spoon of it with rice, it was good but way too spicy for me.
- Spicy Stir-Fried Water Spinach – 180 NTD
I knew I would like this because my mom cooked this meal for us, too. The spiciness was tolerable (for me) and I loved how the stems are so crunchy.
- Lemon Iced Tea – 99 NTD & Iced Thai Milk Tea – 99 NTD
For drinks, I had the milk tea and it was so good! They also provided honey for me to put there since I wanted it sweeter. My boyfriend had the lemon iced tea and he liked it too. It was very refreshing.
- Iced Bubur Cha Cha – 95 NTD
We enjoyed this dessert and we liked all the fruits and pearls on it. There were jackfruits, sweet potatoes and yam among other things on there. It was like Taiwan’s shaved ice dessert.
Overall, we had a good experience. We were able to sit immediately even we didn’t made a reservation. Also, they were fast to attend to your needs. Still a Thai restaurant that I’d go to if given the chance again.
They’re located at the 7th floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Taipei City Xinyi DistrictNo. 9, Songshou Road.
