La Mesa Ecopark has been one of the places I wanted to visit for so long when I wanted a quick escape from the city. The location discourages me to travel, though, as whenever I hear “Quezon City”, I always think it’s too far from me.
Last week, the urge to go somewhere was strong and I felt burned out from work so I really needed to go somewhere with lots of trees. I brought Mom with me and off we go to La Mesa Ecopark.Read More »
Another month has passed by so another recap on this blog on how my July went. How awesome that days are just zipping by making it closer to December. 143 days ’til Christmas, the day I’ve been patiently waiting for. I have been counting down since last month because I so can’t wait to be with my boyfriend again.
Last night, as I was pondering on how my July went, I thought it’s been a busy month with work. When I took a look at my planner, most of the days has really been about work, how busy it’s been and all the rants I wrote about work in there. Makes me think I should stop writing rants on my planner since it’s where I wanted to look back on memorable, happy days.Read More »
I’m so happy June come to an end! Six months to go ’til December. I’ve never been this excited for December before and you’ll know why soon.
June was pretty awesome with all these highlights :
🌸 Dawn, our school’s registrar, gave birth. Since she’s on maternity leave for two months, I took over some of her tasks. It was okay because I got to experience what it’s like to be a registrar and dealing with the students’ document needs. It was a challenge to be the senior high school’s admin and registrar at the same time but I’m managing.Read More »
I’m so envious of all you guys who are experiencing autumn/fall right now. (We only have two seasons.) But to also feel like I’m experiencing fall, I changed my wallpaper to a photo of pumpkins! It’s so gorgeous! 😍
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing with you some memories I had last month. Scanning my planner/journal, I noticed, I wrote that I had busy days at work. With all the exams and awarding for the students, plus my daily tasks, it was indeed a busy month for me. I even got sick (I have cough until now.) But aside all these, September has been good! I was able to make great memories that I thought I’d summarize it all here. 🙂 Let’s start!
How happy I was to be with my cousin again after almost five years!
My cousin is having a job training here in Manila for three weeks and I was excited to see her again that I offered to pick her (and her colleagues) up from the airport. Upon seeing her, the first thing I noticed is that she has grown taller. Way taller than me and she’s only 22 (I’m 26). Read More »
But there’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begin. —Mitch Albom, For One More Day
It’s that time again where we all celebrate mother’s day and however we will spend the day with them today, let’s make it extra special. Let’s remind them again how they mean so much to us. It’s the least we can do for them.Read More »
It’s April 30th and it’s my birthday! Though as of writing it’s already 11:32 PM so I still have less than 30 minutes. 😊 I spent my birthday with my family – we had lunch at home where my sisters prepared dishes and desserts, we then went to church and then went to the mall. I’m thankful!
Happy February to you all!
The month that I’ve been waiting for is finally here! Why? It’s because I’ll be with Andy again. For those who do not know, I’m in a long distance relationship. Nine months ago, we met for the first time in Taiwan and we had an amazing 14 days together. This February, he’ll visit me here in the Philippines and I’m so excited! ❤
Anyway, this January, I had a lot of fun memories – big and small. I’m so glad January flew by smoothly leaving me things to be happy and thankful about.Read More »
And just like that! Days passed by quickly that we’re now on 2017’s 2nd week. I could say I had a great week last week and I’d like to thank my friends, family and boyfriend for it.
Here goes my first week of the year:
Jan. 1st, Sunday. When the clock struck midnight, we had our media noche! We had paella, adobo, grilled fish, buko pandan, pansit, beef tapa, mango float, etc. Thanks to my sister for preparing all the yummy food. ❤ After that, my sister, Claire, and I watched random YouTube videos, like documentaries and vlogs, until 7 AM.
Jan. 2nd, Monday. After almost 8 years, I got reunited with my friend/classmate (from elementary to high school), Rogelyn, and her cousin Alaine (whom who still wants to be called Ashty) haha! We went to Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and had our late lunch at Zark’s Burger. Click here to see more photos.
