I’m so envious of all you guys who are experiencing autumn/fall right now. (We only have two seasons.) But to also feel like I’m experiencing fall, I changed my wallpaper to a photo of pumpkins! It’s so gorgeous! 😍
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing with you some memories I had last month. Scanning my planner/journal, I noticed, I wrote that I had busy days at work. With all the exams and awarding for the students, plus my daily tasks, it was indeed a busy month for me. I even got sick (I have cough until now.) But aside all these, September has been good! I was able to make great memories that I thought I’d summarize it all here. 🙂 Let’s start!
I haven’t seen Wendy (a friend and former colleague) in a long time, for almost four months, I guess. But for the love of kdrama, we finally decided to meet again.
Around 11:00 AM, we met at a fast food restaurant. How I miss her! We then went to her office to get the copies of Pinocchio (kdrama). I have started with the first five episodes already last week but I didn’t have episodes 6 to 20. Their office was nice and wide. They have strong wifi signal (something that I don’t have at work yet. Haha), pantry with swing couches, pretty receiving area for clients/visitors and other cool amenities. After the office tour, I almost wanted to work with them. Haha! Read More »
February 24th. We started our day with a breakfast at Mang Inasal. I ordered grilled chicken. Andy ordered grilled chicken too but with a side of palabok and lumpia. I don’t usually eat palabok, I don’t know why, but I gave it a try again and it was good! I’ll order the next time. I always have a full tummy every time I leave Mang Inasal.
I’ve been with Andy for almost a week now and I’m so happy to be with him again after being away from each other for the past 9 months. Looking back, I feel like it’s so far away. All the waiting and video calls. It was hard. I miss him terribly everyday.
But here we are! Together again! A week longer than our Taiwan trip 9 months ago as he’ll stay here in Manila for 21 days. Yep, he’s here in Manila for the first time! ❤
Below is a daily record of what we’ve been up to:
February 22nd. Andy’s first day here in Manila! Because I went to the doctor first that morning, he waited for me at the airport for almost 45 minutes and he’s complaining about the heat here already. Haha! I was soooo happy seeing him. 😍 Waited for 9 months to finally hug him again! Read More »
It wasn’t a Friday but, Wendy and I were too hungry after work that we decided to have dinner at Chowking – one of my favorite fast food chains. Especially their pancit canton and chicharap. 😍
It was a dinner full of stories shared and I thought it was great to end the day with good vibes.
Going home, I have to ride a jeepney (one of the public transportations here) and then a bus. It was rush hour and buses are packed. I didn’t know someone opened my bag and got my phone already. I only learned when I alighted on my bus stop. I felt so bad. 😣 That phone was with me for almost 1½ years and was a graduation gift from my family. And then someone with a stone heart just stole it from me.
I didn’t went home immediately, I stopped by an internet café and logged on in my Gmail to erase my data from my old phone. I wish it was effective, though. I hope all my files, passwords and whatnot got deleted so he/she can’t access them. I also changed my passwords in all my accounts.
I went home and when I told my family what happened only did I cry. LOL. I just really felt bad.
Days later, I was able to move on from what happened. I don’t have a plan to buy a new one before that incident happened as I’m saving money for other things and it was still a good phone but since things happened already and I need another phone, I bought a new one. This time, I’m doing all the precautions I know so it won’t happen again.
I hope what happened to me, won’t happen to you. Be watchful of your belongings. 🙂
After work last Friday, Wendy and I decided to have dinner before heading home amd since our office is near SM Aura, we decided to eat at the food court of the said mall.
Before going to the food court, we first bought our drinks at Gong Cha. She shared with me that she really loves the milk tea there and said that I should try one. Since I haven’t ordered from there before and because she keeps on insisting me (haha!) I bought one too.
Last Saturday, we made some homemade pizza for breakfast. It was very easy and for sure anyone can do this, too. I don’t know if when was the last time we had pizza because we’re used to have rice every meal (and even for snack. Haha)
It was nice that while we were at the grocery store last Friday, we remembered we wanted to make homemade pizza. We bought a loaf of white bread, pizza sauce, ham, cheese and pineapple. Read More »
