Happy weekend everyone! 😊

Here I am again with my happy list. I think the last time I wrote one was last January? But I was inspired to make one again after reading

And just like that! Days passed by quickly that we’re now on 2017’s 2nd week. I could say I had a great week last week and I’d like to thank my friends, family and boyfriend for it.
Here goes my first week of the year:
- Jan. 1st, Sunday. When the clock struck midnight, we had our media noche! We had paella, adobo, grilled fish, buko pandan, pansit, beef tapa, mango float, etc. Thanks to my sister for preparing all the yummy food. ❤ After that, my sister, Claire, and I watched random YouTube videos, like documentaries and vlogs, until 7 AM.
- Jan. 2nd, Monday. After almost 8 years, I got reunited with my friend/classmate (from elementary to high school), Rogelyn, and her cousin Alaine (whom who still wants to be called Ashty) haha! We went to Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and had our late lunch at Zark’s Burger. Click here to see more photos.
After work last Friday, Wendy and I decided to have dinner before heading home amd since our office is near SM Aura, we decided to eat at the food court of the said mall.
Before going to the food court, we first bought our drinks at Gong Cha. She shared with me that she really loves the milk tea there and said that I should try one. Since I haven’t ordered from there before and because she keeps on insisting me (haha!) I bought one too.
I just realized that it’s been a year since the last time I posted a happy list! I don’t know what happened why I stopped doing it. But here I am again with another list.
My happy list:
🔹I’m currently reading The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes and even though I’m still at chapter 8, I know I’d love it.
🔹I won a book from a blogger from Korea! It’s Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses. Maybe I’ll receive the book in two weeks. Continue reading
Last May 21st, I attended an event called Blogapalooza, The Philippines’ first and largest B2B: Business-to-Blogger Networking and Marketing Event. In the said event, we were able to interact directly with the businesses, meet new bloggers and receive freebies or promotional items from the businesses. Elaine, my friend, and I really had fun on that day. We joined all the booth’s games, took a lot of pictures, listened to talks from bloggers and other online influencers. Local celebrities were there too to join the fun. It’s a feee event and to know more about it, you may visit their website – BLOGAPALOOZA.
Below are some of the photos taken in Blogapalooza. 🙂
Who have read This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith? In that book, Elise listed things what happy looks like for her. Some of things she (and Graham) listed are things that brings me joy and for sure for some other people, too.
After a moment of pondering, I came up with three big ones of what happy looks like to me.
1. Knowing you’re with someone who loves and accepts you. I feel so happy and blessed thinking about that. ❤
2. I get to do things I love — travel, taking photos and sharing them to my social media, and my other hobbies. Continue reading
Sunday, December 6th, I thought the highlight of this day is meeting the bloggers I adore. Instead it was the time I spent with Elaine. Don’t get me wrong, last Sunday was fun — meeting the bloggers, take photos with them and a little chat. But knowing someone I thought I knew already was so much more. Continue reading
