After almost 4 years, I met my grandma again! She flew from Iloilo to visit us and she’ll be staying with us for the next 3 days. I’m happy to see her again. ❤ So, we took her to dinner last night.
We then played at Timezone. Hooray to Iyah for winning 50 tickets every time she play this machine. I tried but I only got 10 tickets. 😂
Fun night! I hope our grandma will enjoy her stay with us. ❤
And just like that! Days passed by quickly that we’re now on 2017’s 2nd week. I could say I had a great week last week and I’d like to thank my friends, family and boyfriend for it.
Here goes my first week of the year:
- Jan. 1st, Sunday. When the clock struck midnight, we had our media noche! We had paella, adobo, grilled fish, buko pandan, pansit, beef tapa, mango float, etc. Thanks to my sister for preparing all the yummy food. ❤ After that, my sister, Claire, and I watched random YouTube videos, like documentaries and vlogs, until 7 AM.
- Jan. 2nd, Monday. After almost 8 years, I got reunited with my friend/classmate (from elementary to high school), Rogelyn, and her cousin Alaine (whom who still wants to be called Ashty) haha! We went to Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and had our late lunch at Zark’s Burger. Click here to see more photos.
The popular and historic Italian city inspired Venice Piazza’s architecture which gives a romantic ambiance.
This is perfect for the lovers and hopeless romantics alike. Without having to leave the country, this place takes you to another world and offers an unforgettable romantic experience. International dining in an Italian setting can only be experienced here in the metro.
We also have events weekly that can make your weeknights more exciting. [source]
Last January 2, I was able to finally go to this pretty place in Taguig City. I’ve been wanting to go here for a long time now as I’m always seeing it on my Facebook news feed. I’m curious as to what made people like this place to go to.
One of the things I’m excited about October is the BDJ Fair. During BDJ Fair, Belle de Jour launches its new planner where everyone can purchase it at a discounted price. Not only that, though, during BDJ Fair, you’d enjoy yourself as they have amazing sponsors that give out free products and stuff and prizes for various games. Also, there are talks you could attend to help you motivate, inspire and live a beautiful life.
I’ve been attending the said annual event for 4 years now and each time, I’d go home happy and had full of fun.
Last October 16th, I went with Elaine and below are some of the things I loved about this year’s BDJ Fair.
1. I was reunited with Elaine. The last time we’ve seen each other was months ago and also at one of BDJ’s event. We both love attending any events of BDJ. ❤ Continue reading
After work last Friday, Wendy and I decided to have dinner before heading home amd since our office is near SM Aura, we decided to eat at the food court of the said mall.
Before going to the food court, we first bought our drinks at Gong Cha. She shared with me that she really loves the milk tea there and said that I should try one. Since I haven’t ordered from there before and because she keeps on insisting me (haha!) I bought one too.
… I’d tell you that I got this pretty photo from ‘http://stocksnap.io/‘. It’s one of my go-to site when looking for pretty stock images. 😉
… I’d tell you I’m still alive, yes, even after not posting anything for 20+ days. 😂 But I still read some of your posts, though. It’s just with work and commute going home, I’d rather want to shower, eat and sleep immediately. And that my life had been uneventful. Haha! Continue reading
I just realized that it’s been a year since the last time I posted a happy list! I don’t know what happened why I stopped doing it. But here I am again with another list.
My happy list:
🔹I’m currently reading The Girl You Left Behind by Jojo Moyes and even though I’m still at chapter 8, I know I’d love it.
🔹I won a book from a blogger from Korea! It’s Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses. Maybe I’ll receive the book in two weeks. Continue reading
