I’m so happy June come to an end! Six months to go ’til December. I’ve never been this excited for December before and you’ll know why soon.
June was pretty awesome with all these highlights :
🌸 Dawn, our school’s registrar, gave birth. Since she’s on maternity leave for two months, I took over some of her tasks. It was okay because I got to experience what it’s like to be a registrar and dealing with the students’ document needs. It was a challenge to be the senior high school’s admin and registrar at the same time but I’m managing.Read More »
A month has gone past and a new school year will start again on Monday. I may not be a student but I work at a school so I’m having mixed emotions about this. I’m cool with it but I know the paperwork will double as we have more enrollees than last year. But then again, I might get transferred to another office, if that happens, I won’t handle senior high school teachers and students concerns anymore. This change of environment excites me! We’ll see about it.

Last February 15, 2018, I flew back to Taiwan to be with my boyfriend again. (On why we chose Taiwan of me going to Canada instead, you may read it here.) It was such an exciting day for me. Prior to the flight, I haven’t seen my boyfriend for almost a year so I was very excited.
First thing I noticed is the weather. Manila weather is always around 32 degrees Celsius and I’m used to that. I knew it will be cold in Taiwan but I underestimated as I only brought two jackets with me. It was 20 degrees C when I arrived. That is very cold already to me who’s used to tropical weather. I loved it, though!Read More »
Andy and I always make it a point to do something memorable everyday every time we meet.
For almost a year of not being together, I really missed playing bowling with him. I find it very exciting and fun. I also always looking forward to win against him. Haha! Coincidentally, we played again last March 5, 2018, the same month and day as last year. Also, last year, I won against him. 😀Read More »
We’re now on the second month of 2018! The month I’ve been waiting for because I’ll be meeting Andy again after a year. I know right? This LDR thing is so crazy. 😀 Anyway, I thought of making a review how my January 2018 went.
I’d say January has been a stressful month for me. Of course, there were good times too but this month really gave me a lot of headaches. Here’s how:Read More »
I’m so envious of all you guys who are experiencing autumn/fall right now. (We only have two seasons.) But to also feel like I’m experiencing fall, I changed my wallpaper to a photo of pumpkins! It’s so gorgeous! 😍
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing with you some memories I had last month. Scanning my planner/journal, I noticed, I wrote that I had busy days at work. With all the exams and awarding for the students, plus my daily tasks, it was indeed a busy month for me. I even got sick (I have cough until now.) But aside all these, September has been good! I was able to make great memories that I thought I’d summarize it all here. 🙂 Let’s start!

The last time I wore a gown was when I was in high school, when I attended a prom and that was last 2007. The gown I wore was my cousin’s whom she wore at our cousin’s wedding. If I remember correctly, it was in orange (cringe) and off the shoulder type. It looked okay actually but if I had any other choice, I’d pick a different one.
Fast forward to today, imagine how happy I was that I was able to collaborate with Gown For Rent and be one of their brand ambassadresses. Finally! I had the chance to wear a gown again!
I went to their shop and saw all the beautiful gowns they have – from wedding gowns, cocktail dresses, bridesmaid dresses, gowns for kids, for debut and others. I was sooo happy! I’d definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Why buy a gown that you’d only get to wear once or twice, right? It’s more practical to just rent. With Gown For Rent, you’d even get the chance to own the accessories that comes with the gown. 😉
Below are three of the gowns that I was able to try on.

It’s rainy season here in the Philippines but it didn’t stop me from wearing clothes with summer and vintage vibe to it. 😍 but of course, regardless the weather, as long as you’re comfortable wearing it? Go! 😉

We at BeautyMNL want you to feel your most beautiful. Every. Single. Day.
Filipina beauty is perhaps the most diverse in the world. We are a tribe of morenas, mestizas, and chinitas. Our hair falls in thick curls, gentle waves, or pin-straight sheets. Our smiles have made us famous in other countries, whether they’re framed by lips full or thin. No two Filipinas are alike—and that’s the most awesome thing about being one of us.
Our beauty doesn’t fit the mold—it breaks it. So it’s not hard to imagine why, in a world steeped in Photoshopped images and unattainable standards of perfection, it can be a challenge to appreciate our own look. And we know this, because we’re one of you, too! source:BeautyMNL
I’ve been seeing BeautyMNL on IG as people I follow often tag them but it never occurred to me to shopwith them before. That’s one of my regrets because it turned out, after shopping from their site; I had lots of reasons why I love them and that I should shop from them again soon.
They have a wide range of skincare and makeup products from cult favorites to local brands. I was also happy to see some Korean products from their shop. They also have accessories!
Here are the top 5 reasons why I had a great shopping experience with BeautyMNL:Read More »
Do you have friends on social media that you haven’t met yet? I have a lot! But the best part is, I met some of them last June 24th, 2017. But first, here’s my OOTD that day as Elaine and I attended an event. Read More »
