Iyah’s 7th Birthday

Hello!

Last July 6th,my niece celebrated her 7th birthday. It was a Wednesday and, fortunately, it was a holiday so we were able to give her a party and invited her friends to celebrate it with her.

She’s very happy and we’re happy for her, too. I think what it made more special, though, was that she finally met her half-sister for the first time. 🙂

And here’s a video that my boyfriend made, a compilation of Iyah’s photos since she was a baby. 🙂

First day of August was spent at SM Mall of Asia with my niece. It’s also my little treat for her since she’s been doing good in school and she woke up early that day to do her homework without us telling her to do so. She’s only 6 years old but I love how she’s showing dedication towards her studies already. I’m proud of her! 🙂

3 Wishes For My Niece and Nephew

Ezekiel and Iyah are growing up so fast, like where did the time go? I could still remember the first time I hold them like it was yesterday. It felt surreal that I’m holding a baby that I could call my own nephew and niece. And I’m glad they are growing up healthy and happy.

image

If I’d make a looong list, these would be the first three…

3 wishes for them…
1. That they will understand what their happiness is and that they’d do more of that. I want them to live a happy life…less regret.

2. That they will love themselves first and never put limitations on who they are going to be and what can be. Also, that they’d understand that they won’t get whatever they want in an instant. That they’d take little steps and be patient and that they’ll reach their dreams.

3. That they’ll find someone to love and love them in return. But will also be strong enough to walk away from someone who is unworthy. Also, they’ll build a family where they could also instill the love and good values we taught them.

And this would be the last one on the long list…

100. That they will always remember how hard I tried to be a good aunt. That I was by their side since they were a baby. ❤

Ezekiel and Iyah, I love you both! 😘

Sunday Fun Day 5.31.2015

Another quality time spent with the family. I’m glad that we did this because tomorrow’s the start of school again and everyone will be busy.

So, we first went to church and the topic was about…

My nephew took down notes. 😉

We then went to one of the restaurants at SM Mall of Asia that serves sea foods. I forgot the name of the restaurant. Haha!

image

I wanted to take pictures of the food we ordered but everyone’s hungry that they can’t wait to eat already. It was already 1:40pm that time.

We then went to watch a movie. We still had 1 ½ hours to wait before the movie starts so these happened…

Hope you guys had a wonderful day, too!! ^___^

Shopped for School Supplies

image

A week and few days left before school starts again. It’s that time of the year again where we would shop for school supplies for ourselves, though, in my case for my niece. Yay!! The joy of being a graduate and not going to school again this June. Haha!

Alliyah and I went to National Book Store at SM Mall of Asia around 4pm so it wouldn’t be too hot on the road.

image

She’s going to be in Grade 1 at the age of 5 years and 9 months! Lol! I remember I entered Grade 1 at the age of 7. 😜

We bought notebooks, papers, pencils, etc but not the bag and shoes yet. That will be her mother’s agenda. 😀 I loved seeing my niece’s reaction in buying what she needs. I could see that she’s excited to go back to school again with her new things. 🙂 I even let her choose whatever notebook designs she’ll buy to be sure she’ll really like it.

image

After crossing off all the things she’ll need from the list, yes her mother made a list so we wouldn’t forget anything, I let her browse some books from the shelves. She’s so happy when she saw some Frozen books! 🙂

image

After checking out at the counter, we went to Chowking to eat. While waiting for our orders, she mentioned that I can already have a husband. Hahah! Maybe she was happy that I accompanied her in buying her things so she gave me the blessing of being in a relationship because she used to never ever want me have a boyfriend. 😀

She’s super hungry already.

image

Went home with full stomach and she volunteered to carry the bag of school supplies. As of writing, she’s asleep already, got tired for sure. Heh! ^___^

After lunch, we went to a department store to buy some stuff for the house and some cosmetics for my sisters.

And how nice of the sales man to curl our hair. Haha! We bought the same hair iron before, though, we only use it to straighten our hair, so, he taught us how to use it in curling our hair. 😀

Bright Sunny Day ☀

One bright and sunny day, we went to SM Mall of Asia and had fun. This is my kind of Sunday!

image

Having fun under the sun with my niece and nephew. It was around 3pm and in 32°C. It’s hot! But we didn’t mind. 😁 we owned the SM MOA’s lawn that time. Haha! See the people at the back? They’re hiding from the sun. 😜

SM By The Bay reposted my picture on their Instagram account! Yay! 😍
I took selfies while Ezekiel’s rolling at the back! Haha!
