Happy February to you all!
The month that I’ve been waiting for is finally here! Why? It’s because I’ll be with Andy again. For those who do not know, I’m in a long distance relationship. Nine months ago, we met for the first time in Taiwan and we had an amazing 14 days together. This February, he’ll visit me here in the Philippines and I’m so excited! ❤
Anyway, this January, I had a lot of fun memories – big and small. I’m so glad January flew by smoothly leaving me things to be happy and thankful about.Read More »
And just like that! Days passed by quickly that we’re now on 2017’s 2nd week. I could say I had a great week last week and I’d like to thank my friends, family and boyfriend for it.
Here goes my first week of the year:
Jan. 1st, Sunday. When the clock struck midnight, we had our media noche! We had paella, adobo, grilled fish, buko pandan, pansit, beef tapa, mango float, etc. Thanks to my sister for preparing all the yummy food. ❤ After that, my sister, Claire, and I watched random YouTube videos, like documentaries and vlogs, until 7 AM.
Jan. 2nd, Monday. After almost 8 years, I got reunited with my friend/classmate (from elementary to high school), Rogelyn, and her cousin Alaine (whom who still wants to be called Ashty) haha! We went to Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and had our late lunch at Zark’s Burger. Click here to see more photos.
One of the things I’m excited about October is the BDJ Fair. During BDJ Fair, Belle de Jour launches its new planner where everyone can purchase it at a discounted price. Not only that, though, during BDJ Fair, you’d enjoy yourself as they have amazing sponsors that give out free products and stuff and prizes for various games. Also, there are talks you could attend to help you motivate, inspire and live a beautiful life.
I’ve been attending the said annual event for 4 years now and each time, I’d go home happy and had full of fun.
Last October 16th, I went with Elaine and below are some of the things I loved about this year’s BDJ Fair.
1. I was reunited with Elaine. The last time we’ve seen each other was months ago and also at one of BDJ’s event. We both love attending any events of BDJ. ❤Read More »
We’ve got five days left before 2016! I’m claiming it my year, too, because it’s the year where I’ll make things happen. I’ll make sure to have a fabulous and a very memorable one. I’ll put more effort in all the things I do, create new hobbies, achieve my goals and just live life to the fullest!
To help me achieve all those and for me to organize my schedule and ideas, I decided to buy again a Belle de Jour planner. I really love this planner with all the features it got and it’s so girly! Perfect for my liking! ❤ Read More »
Few days left before we’ll say goodbye to December and to 2014! I’m 70% excited. And 30% not because first week of January means 2 presentations and exams! 😜 but whatever! I will do it so I could graduate college on April 2015. 😍
Anyway, as for the title of this post, yes I’ll share to you all the happenings last January 2014, thanks to the help of my planner. 😜
1st of January. With my sisters, niece and nephew, we went to SM Mall of Asia to eat, have fun and watch fireworks!
2nd of January. I went to Bonifacio Global Center to get this planner from TV5 which I won from their Twitter contest. 🙂 BGC is a very nice place!
I then went to SM Mall of Asia to watch the movie Kimmy Dora alone. It’s not my first time to watch a movie in a cinema alone! Haha. Do you do it, too? 😀
3rd of January. Past 12am, my mother was rushed to the hospital because she had a high fever and she can’t breathe well. She was discharged around 8am. Thank God!
4th of January. I went to SM Mall of Asia and watched 2 movies. Guess what. Yes, I’m all alone again. Haha! I watched 10,000 Hours and My Little Bossings. Here in the Philippines, starting December 25th, we have this Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
The Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines (MMFF-P) is an annual film festival held in Manila . The festival, which runs from the 25th of December to the first week of January in the following year, focuses on locally produced films.
During the course of the festival, no foreign movies are shown across the Philippines (except in 3D theaters and IMAX theaters).
And 10,000 Hours was my favorite film among the MMFF entries.
5th of January. I just stayed in our house all day. Watched a number of videos on YouTube.
6th of January. First day of class for 2014 but we did not have a regular class yet so Alona and I went to SM MOA and watched Pagpag. It was a great horror movie!
“The film revolves around the traditional Filipino belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits or the deceased to one’s home. One should first shake off (in Filipino, pagpág ) whatever curse there may be to avoid being trailed by the soul of the dead.”

7th of January. Alona and I went to Summit Media’s office to claim my another BDJ planner and I gave it to my sister since I already have my own BDJ. Summit Media is the leading consumer magazine publisher here in the Philippines and I used to (and still do) want to work at their office. ❤
