2. Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks – A quick read with just over 200+ pages and one can possibly finish reading it in one sitting. Aside from the tragic love story, which is a typical N. S. novel, this book wants to pass on encouragement to people who undergo grief. I remember at the beginning of this year that I joined the reading challenge of Goodreads. (Though I don’t use my Goodreads account anymore to update my reading progress.) I pledged to read five books in one year. Yes, just five books. Haha! I have work so I thought I’d only have the time to read five books.
