Yesterday, I saw a poll on Facebook that said, “You can only have one, which would you choose: clear skin, all the makeup products on your wishlist or a good hair day, every day.” As someone who is always getting a pimple here and there, and living in the city where pollution triggers my sensitive skin, I chose clear skin.
To help me achieve having clear skin, I’ve been using Beauty Trends products. They have moisturizer, nose pack, peel-off mask, hydrating facial mask, toner and more.Read More »

Substance: Laser & Skincare, a new skin clinic where beauty is not a luxury opened its doors on August 18th and I was one of the lucky bloggers to witness their grand launch.
I, myself, have been battling with pimples and acne scars and sometimes, I am even losing hope if there would still be a chance that my face will get clear again. Derma procedures are always so high above my budget that I’d rely to skincare products in the hope of achieving perfect skin. But then, acne and pimples that I got when I hit puberty already left scars and marks that I’d always need concealers or bb creams to cover it up.
After undergoing treatments from Substance which I narrated below, I’m hopeful I’ll get that smooth skin again.Read More »
Happy Guide: 6 Simple Lifestyle Changes for Health and Happiness is by Michael Kinnaird who lived for 13 years of life-destroying fatigue. He doesn’t want people to go through what he went through thus the birth of this book. He said “…so much suffering is still caused by ignorance of really simple truths about health and happiness.” and I couldn’t agree more. I found myself hooked with the book finishing it in one sitting.Read More »
One of my mantras this year is, “Skincare over makeup.” It’s always a good idea to invest with skincare, because if you have good skin, you’d only need minimal makeup especially on normal and regular days. Especially in my case, I’m not that good with applying makeup and if I’ll put on makeup, it needs to be light as I’m working in a school.
With that said, I’m happy that I was able to have the chance to try the new Pond’s Flawless Radiance Derma+ Range.Read More »
We’re now on the second month of 2018! The month I’ve been waiting for because I’ll be meeting Andy again after a year. I know right? This LDR thing is so crazy. 😀 Anyway, I thought of making a review how my January 2018 went.
I’d say January has been a stressful month for me. Of course, there were good times too but this month really gave me a lot of headaches. Here’s how:Read More »

And just like that! Days passed by quickly that we’re now on 2017’s 2nd week. I could say I had a great week last week and I’d like to thank my friends, family and boyfriend for it.
Here goes my first week of the year:
- Jan. 1st, Sunday. When the clock struck midnight, we had our media noche! We had paella, adobo, grilled fish, buko pandan, pansit, beef tapa, mango float, etc. Thanks to my sister for preparing all the yummy food. ❤ After that, my sister, Claire, and I watched random YouTube videos, like documentaries and vlogs, until 7 AM.
- Jan. 2nd, Monday. After almost 8 years, I got reunited with my friend/classmate (from elementary to high school), Rogelyn, and her cousin Alaine (whom who still wants to be called Ashty) haha! We went to Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, Taguig City and had our late lunch at Zark’s Burger. Click here to see more photos.

For the month of June, I was able to read these four novels;
1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes – you may read my thoughts about this book here
2. Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks – A quick read with just over 200+ pages and one can possibly finish reading it in one sitting. Aside from the tragic love story, which is a typical N. S. novel, this book wants to pass on encouragement to people who undergo grief. Life must go on, as what they said, especially when you’re a parent and still have a small child that needs you.Read More »
