It’s Time to Cut These Unsolicited Comments About Makeup

LIFESTYLE IMAGE-1For most women, glamming up is second nature. It looks good, feels good, and can even bring a good bit of fun.

However, there are still people who feel like they need to throw shade at a woman for something as routine as putting on makeup.

Giving backhanded compliments is one thing, but being rude and snarky is another. And among all the unsolicited words makeup-wearing women get, these are just some that should be retired immediately:Read More »

A Bonné, for a smooth and radiant skin

img_9636

A Bonne is a spa milk salt brand that was created in Thailand. They use natural local ingredients that made them popular among women for fairer, whiter and more radiant skin.

One of my sisters is a fan of their shower salt and she’s been using it for years. I even remember how their previous packaging looks like, with a cute cow. Now, she has smooth and radiant skin but still continues to use it. I’m glad I had the chance to use them as well and I’ll share with you my thoughts about them here.

A Bonne has various kinds of products; lotions, soaps, bath salts, spa yogurt salts and hair spa milk to name a few. But today, I’ll be reviewing their lotion, bar soap and shower salt.Read More »

Powerful and Inspirational Quotes from Becoming by Michelle Obama

38746485

I only know Michelle Obama through what I see on TV and read on the internet. Only after reading her memoir that I learned more things about her.

After reading Becoming, I’m fully convinced that she really is an inspiring and powerful woman and as a mother. I loved the book. It gave me so many emotions; sometimes I’d catch myself swoon over their love story, cry as she recalls the school shootings, or laugh with some silly things they did. I was deeply moved by her. I love how she promotes hope and inspires so many people. She used her influence in so many positive ways. I admire and respect her a lot.

This is one of the books, I think, everyone should make time to read. I’ve been meaning to read it last year, but never had the chance. Read More »

Yes, it’s almost June! The sixth month of the year. The school will about to start soon, too. I’m a little (just a little) excited to have another school year at work; to meet new students and teachers, office works to do and for sure some challenges to endure again.

Anyway, for my bullet journal, I’m supposed to wait for AmandaRachLee to post her video because I would like to recreate it. But, I was so in the mood last night to make my own so I didn’t to wait for her upload anymore. Read More »

Beauty Trends, affordable and effective skincare that won’t break the bank

img_9175Yesterday, I saw a poll on Facebook that said, “You can only have one, which would you choose: clear skin, all the makeup products on your wishlist or a good hair day, every day.” As someone who is always getting a pimple here and there, and living in the city where pollution triggers my sensitive skin, I chose clear skin.

To help me achieve having clear skin, I’ve been using Beauty Trends products. They have moisturizer, nose pack, peel-off mask, hydrating facial mask, toner and more.Read More »

IMG_9122

I’m someone that’s not really confident in making a whole blog post about movies, so, finding this kind of blog post on the internet was really awesome. Shout out to Karina of Afire Pages.

No particular reason why I chose 13 Going On 30 to be the first movie that I’ll make a blog post like this with, it’s just I haven’t seen the movie yet and has been on my Netflix Downloads for over a week now. An old movie, but let’s see.

Let’s begin…Read More »
